The Osstell Beacon instrument serves to objectively determine implant stability and measure the degree of osseointegration without the risk of impairing the healing process. It is a fast and non-invasive diagnostic instrument that provides precise information required for making well-informed decisions.
Osstell uses RFA technology (Resonance Frequency Analysis) to determine implant stability and assess the progress of osseointegration. The measured ISQ value (Implant Stability Quotient), verified by tens of scientific studies, is displayed by the instrument based on a scale from 1 to 100 (and on a colour indicator as well). The higher the ISQ, the more stable the implant. Thanks to this, you can optimize the time before loading the implant and avoid failures in high-risk patients.
